I went to Abraham Hicks this weekend

The second I saw it on social media, I signed up.

Abraham Hicks. Two-day workshop. Right here in Seattle.

I didn't think about it. I didn't check my calendar twice. I just clicked yes and felt my whole body light up.

Then I did what I always do when something lights me up — I told everyone.

I posted about it. More than once. Come with me. Who's coming? Seriously, come.

And this weekend, I walked into that room... alone.

I still can't quite believe it. That not one person came with me. That more people I know didn't jump at the chance to be in that room.

But you know what? Going solo turned out to be exactly what I needed. (More on that in a second.)

If you're not familiar with Abraham Hicks — Esther Hicks channels a collective consciousness called Abraham, and it's basically the original source of everything we now call the Law of Attraction. The whole idea that you create your reality through your alignment, your energy, your vibration... so much of it traces back here.

If any of this is new to you, go read The Law of Attraction →. It's the foundation. It'll reframe how you see everything.

The workshops themselves are simple. People raise their hands, ask a question, and Abraham answers — and somehow every answer lands for the entire room. It's less coaching, more... transmission. Spiritual teaching in real time.

I've been to a lot of rooms lately. Powerhouse Women two weeks ago. This weekend. I've basically been on a personal-development bender (it’s intense and the absolute best)!

So I walked in ready to receive.

And here's the part I wasn't expecting.

At the beginning, my hand was itching to go up. I wanted to ask a question. I wanted to get up there — because who wouldn't want to be in that presence?

So I kept thinking what could I ask…what do I want to know?

But when I got honest with myself... I didn't actually have a question.

I knew the answer to everything I was working on. Every. Single. Thing.

The only reason I wanted to raise my hand was ego. I wanted the moment. I wanted to be seen. I wanted the exposure of being on stage with Abraham.

And once I clocked that — I let it go. And something kind of beautiful happened instead.

I felt this quiet little pride. Oh. I already know this. I've done the work. I'm not lost.

But then came the real gut-punch.

Sitting in that room, I realized something I've been avoiding.

I've been so deep in strategy lately. The coaches I'm working with, the skills I'm sharpening, the tactical growth stuff — I've been living there. Head down. Pushing.

And in all that pushing... I stopped doing the exact inner work I teach. The alignment work. The receiving. The being.

Here's the wild part: this isn't even the first time.

Earlier this year, I caught myself in the same spot. Grinding. Forcing. And instead of pushing harder, I did my own Magic Money Makeover — my own process, on myself — got back into alignment... and made a bunch of money. Not from hustle. From coming home to the work.

And then? I forgot again. 😅

That's the thing nobody tells you. It's not learn the lesson once and you're done forever. It's forget, remember, forget, remember. Over and over. The work isn't a finish line — it's a place you keep coming back to.

The thing I tell my clients constantly — what you want doesn't come from working harder, it comes from alignment — I have to keep re-learning it too.

Oof. And also... relief.

So here's what I'm committing to now.

Getting back to myself. Expecting less of myself. Remembering that the next level I want isn't hiding at the bottom of a longer to-do list.

It's on the other side of alignment.

Because effort in the wrong zone doesn't compound. It just... exhausts you.

And if you've been grinding lately — if you've been treating your next income level like a problem you can out-work — this is your permission slip.

You're allowed to stop pushing so hard.

You're allowed to already know the answer.

You're allowed to forget, and come back. Again and again.

I'll be over here doing it right alongside you. 💚

Love and light,

P.S. When's the last time you caught yourself doing the opposite of what you preach — then found your way back? Hit reply and tell me. I actually want to know I'm not the only one.
